(Ablution; Ghusul; Ritual ablution; Wash) In accordance with the Islamic law, the Ghusul or ritual bath is by custom performed on a special festival day, and also before the Friday congregational prayer; it is also performed before stating a pilgrimage, after a person recovers from a illness, or when one has emitted sperms either during sleep or a marital sexual intercourse.
