If a person dreams that he sees himself eating the fruit of the fig tree; this denotes a bountiful harvest or an increase in the number of his children. A fig tree could also stand for a wealthy man who benefits his community with his richness. His enemies will even benefit from his generosity because many types of snakes live on a fig tree. There is no other fruit that has the same benefits as the fig tree. In the dream, figs stand for legal and convenient earnings and it is easily seen. Fig leaves stand for distress, depression and grief. For one to dream that he sees himself eating fig leaves; this warns that one will encounter sorrow and afflictions. To dream that one sees black fig in its season denotes comfort, and to see white figs in the dream has much better connotations. To dream that one is eating figs when it is not its season warns that dreamer will suffer pangs of jealousy.
